This book is the first part of a general work about fossil shells from the Lower Pleistocene of Tuscany (Italy). Our aim is to present a list and iconography for the greatest possible amount of molluscan species from the Tuscan Calabrian stage. The investigated outcrops are in the western end of Tuscany, in the provinces of Livorno and Pisa. In this first list we present 92 gastropod species, starting with Patellidae and ending with the Triviidae. 90 pp., 16 b/w plates, hardcover 4.
