There is gilt on the spine of the book and on the front cover. The boards are a little shelf rubbed' slightly faded marks and a touch edge worn. A small chipped piece is missing from the bottom edge of the spine and a slight creases across the title page. There are a few age related marks within the body of the book (1893).
