Sie wurden aufgrund der anhaltenden Nachfrage zunächst als limitierte einfache und bilderlose Buchausgabe für die Studierenden der Universität zusammengefasst und schließlich als Buch mit über 20 Fotos, 10 Zeichnungen und chinesischer Kalligrafie von Jiang Qiting veröffentlicht. Chen Congzhou (1918-2000) war Experte in chinesischer Architektur und Gartengeschichte. Er setzte sich für die Erhaltung der natürlichen Umwelt und die Restaurierung vieler historischer Bauten ein.
