Bo…und in full contemporary sheep, no title to spine, double blind rules to edges of covers. Spine rubbed, worn and crinkled, small chip to head of spine, slight wear to corners, tiny repair to top of inner margin of title page and following page, title in ink on title page, bookplate and old ink presentation inscription and other ink notes to first pastedown (see attached image), H2 has a small paper fault repaired to outer margin, not affecting text, 1 lower corner repaired, not affecting text, minor water-staining to inner gutters of pages 113-128, not affecting text, occasional pale spot to margins. A good complete copy of this edition. The book was published anonymously but a second edition published in1675 included his name. Walter Charleton, MD Oxon, Fellow and three times President of the College of Physicians, F.R.S., physician to King Charles I and II.
