Zustand: Fine. - Small quarto, natural buckram titled in gilt within gilt-ruled blue rectangle on front cover & the spine, in a pictorial blue dust wrapper (chipped with tears & small pieces out from top edge; price clipped). Zustand: Good. 1939. First Edition. 161 pages. No dust jacket. Blue cloth with gilt lettering. Clean pages with mild tanning throughout. Tightly bound with faint thumb-marking throughout. Boards have light edgewear with corner crushing and notable marking to boards. Notable tanning to board edges and spine, which has mild crushing to ends. Mild water stains and droplets to boards. Book has forward lean.

Pages remain bright and clean with minimal tanning and foxing. Binding remains firm. A previous owner's name to front free endpaper. Boards have heavy shelf wear with bumping and fraying to corners and crushing and fraying to spine ends. All surfaces tanned and sunned, particularly spine. Gilt lettering to spine is slightly dulled. Some additional marks and staining to surfaces.
