Dedication from the author to the Danish entomologist, professor J.C. Schiødte. 2 small pencil notes on the preface. Tanning to the page edges. Weak front hinge. Bumped corners and a worn spine. Acceptable. * The author was a Danish diplomat, and through this book he tried to influence British opinion in favour of Denmark in its feud against the German states over the border duchies of Schleswig and Holstein - the so-called Schleswig-Holstein Question.
