Leon Ware is also the author of CRAZY DOG. This is a book about sailing written for young adult readers. I have not been able to find out any biographical information about Leon Ware. Frederick Trench Chapman (1887-1983) was an illustrator whose papers are at the University of Minnesota, including two children's books. Frederick T.
