The grey cloth boards have nearly no wear and certainly no bumps. W/o the damp inside, the book would be nearly new. The Dust jacket has wear at the bottom with very short tears. Owned previously by a book store whose small stamp is on the first fly. 196 pages --- obviously a "must read" listing. "387 B.C. to 1978 A.D." This is the updated, enlarged 4th edition.
