Zustand: A Very Good Copy. 25cm, 80p. frontis & 12 plates, 5 colour maps, (including 3 folding), in the publishers light blue cloth, gilt tiitles on the upper cover, map of canada stamped in black on the upper cover, a bit soiled, previous owner's bookplate. With the bookplate of C.H.D Clarke who was a Canadian forester and zoologist. Clarke was part of an expedition to the region of the Thelon River, in the eastern Northwest Territories. It was there he conducted the research for his best known publication A Biological Investigation of the Thelon Game Sanctuary.
