Scarce and early nuclear ephemera, both published to encourage the general public to welcome and understand the new panacea of nuclear energy, with explanations of the nuclear program and their processes. Both pamphlet and leaflet measure 8.5 inches tall w. the Calder Hall having pp. 18, [19], four pages of glossy B&W illustrations and map inner covers ; Nuclear Power Station leaflet w. pp. [4] inc. covers, being a double page explanatory illustration at center. The four pages of eight B&W photo reproductions show Calder Hall with scaffolding and cranes during construction, installing the Reactor Charging Floor, the Reactor Graphite Core, Burst Slug Detector Gear, the Control Room, etc.
