With a colour frontispiece, a title page decoration, three colour plates, and 35 black and white drawings in the text, all bar nine of them by Aldin. The cloth chipped at the head of the backstrip, and with a hint of wear to one or two corner tips. A very good copy in the uncommon dust wrapper, alas a somewhat soiled, nicked, chipped, torn and repaired price-clipped example.
