The editor Edward Stillingfleet Cayley ( 1802 - 1862 ) was a British Liberal Party politician…, farmer, magistrate and, finally, Deputy Lieutenant of Yorkshire. He was active in local agricultural societies and soon became well known as a supporter of increased parliamentaryrepresentation for Yorkshire .
