Unbound. Zustand: Good. No publisher, place or date. Perhaps Los Angeles, late 1980s, early 1990s. Approximately 5 ½ by 4 ½ inches. Pink cardstock paper. One side with event information surrounded by chains, with the other side featuring a photo of a man bound in ropes. Photograph was taken by Rick Castro, an American photographer and film director whose work often focuses on BDSM and kindred subjects. We can only surmise that this was for an event that may have been for the BDSM community, although based on the address, it was the location of a gay bar in Los Angeles in the 1930s, and perhaps a venue for the gay community after, although we have found nothing to absolutely say so. GOOD condition. Horizontal fold crease to the paper. Minor uneven fading, with tiny creases at the corners. Mailing address in ink on the side with the photo.

With a prodigious group of contributors: interviews with Nick Burd, Vince Aletti, Michael Denneny, and Jeffrey Escoffier. An excerpt of a memoir by porn star Rod Barry. Poetry, prose, and fiction by Rick Castro, James Magruder, Saeed Jones, and many others. 5.5" x 8" softcover book, perfect bound in card wraps. Unpaginated with black and white illustrations. Clean and unmarked with a sound binding that is just a tiny bit free to open inside front cover. Traces of wear to cover corners, else a very good+ to near fine copy. Handsome and scarce.
