Included are four installments from the Eck Discourses, namely Eck Hi, Eck Hi 2, Eck Jr, and Eck Tweenie 2, in which founder Paul Twitchell transmits various stages of Eckankar's spiritual teachings. Intended to guide a young person through their journey to spiritual ascension from childhood through adolescence, the series is replete with strange diagrams illustrating the process of entering the Kingdom of Heaven. "The Eck Wedding Ceremony" describes the proper wedding rites and their significance. All books in very good condition, well bound and clean. Tweenie 2 with minimal, generally neat underlining and emphasis marks. Eck Jr and Eck Hi with a small penned note on title page indicating the intended audience age. Books otherwise unmarked. One small circular sticker and a couple of sticker ghosts to front wraps' upper corners. Mild and generally even toning/rubbing to covers and pages. Dampstain running length of spine to Eck Hi 2. Overall this lot of hard-to-find books is in very solid condition.

This is a witty and humorous edition of Carroll's famous poem. The text and preliminary pages for this edition have been set from a copy of the first edition, published by Macmillan & Co. in 1876. The illustrator, Harold Jones (1904 - 1992) was a British artist, illustrator and writer of children's books. Critic Brian Alderson called him "perhaps the most original children's book illustrator of the period," [Wikipedia] Bound in black cloth with gilt titling and decorative border on front cover and gilt titling to spine. Housed in a black paper covered slipcase. Printed in Caslon type on mouldmade paper made at St Cuthbert's Mill. The endpapers were made by Solveig Stone at the Compton Press and bound by Hunter & Foulis. In fine condition. Measures 8 x 11.5 inches. 45 pages plus colophon. PRI/111524. Signed.
