Pages and plates and lightly tanned, with moderate foxing to edges and endpapers, but text and images remain clear. Binding is firm. Moderate cracking to front hinge. Noticeable marking to some pages throughout. Prize plate stuck to front pastedown. Boards have moderate shelf-wear, with noticeable corner bumping and some scuffing to edges. Noticeable crushing and slight splitting to spine ends. Moderate rubbing and scuffing overall, with some noticeable marks also. Gilt remains bright. Book has a slight forward lean.
