Zustand: New. Taschenbuch. Zustand: Neu. Neuware - Are you interested in a book that will change your life Learn to create the life you really want to live by using the tools recommended in Have Your Heart s Desire: Tools for a Wealthier, Healthier, Happier Life to create the life you ve only dreamed about. Hundreds of people have acquired the skills to manifest their heart s desires through the power of prayer and so can you! Author Carol Chapman learned the prayers from their creator, J. Everett Irion, a kind and psychic counselor working at Edgar Cayce headquarters in Virginia Beach. He studied the psychic guidance in the Cayce readings and provided private spiritual coaching sessions that included guidance in psychic development, personal transformation, and self improvement. One of the prayers, the profound 40-day Forgiveness Prayer, is often referred to as the Edgar Cayce prayer. Everett was in his mid-70s when the author knew him. Sadly, he has passed away since, but his words of wisdom live on. In this fantastic book you will learn: In this remarkable book you will learn: How the Prayer of Manifestation can bring you the desires of your heart Spiritual guidelines for making good choices How to forgive yourself A prayer for forgiving others A prayer that helps with guilt and grief A prayer to help relationship problems How the 40-Day Prayer inadvertently led to one man s healing from a fatal disease in which he had been given only six months to live Why you need to appreciate everything A prayer for letting go of anger and resentment The interplay of the conscious and subconscious minds in finding happiness How to use the Law of Attraction in ways that honor the will of the soul How body/mind healing and Grace can result when following these spiritual practices How to choose your words to create more powerful prayers Why you need 40 days of prayer so you can change your life If you want to make a better life, this is the book for you! Have Your Hearts Desire is the first book in the 'Your Spiritual Awakening' series. When readers learned of the many spiritual techniques author Carol Chapman used that led to her spiritual awakening as described in her book, When We Were Gods: Insights on Atlantis, Past Lives, Angelic Beings of Light, and Spiritual Awakening, they asked her to give them step-by-step instructions. In answer to their request, she is creating the Your Spiritual Awakening series which will include working with dreams, using meditation methods to better your life, and manifesting your psychic soul powers through communicating with nature spirits. Foreword by Nancy Christbaum, Filmmaker, Intuitive Counselor, and Energy Practitioner.

UNCONVENTIONAL BLACK AND KHAKI TIE-DYED CALF BY CRIS CLAIR TAKACS (inscribed in pencil in colophon: "Bound by Cris Clair Takacs 1993"), upper cover with subtle leather-relief archway and blind-stamped falling leaves, smooth spine with two black morocco labels, green handmade paper endleaves. In matching leather-lipped black cloth slipcase. With four full-page woodcuts by Nora Koch. Printed in Hammer Uncial on domestic etching paper. âIn mint condition. This is an attractively hand-printed and illustrated remembrance by architectural historian Carol Ahlgren of the hand-crafted bridges she crossed while collecting maple sap with her grandfather; but the big story here is our volume's conspicuous binding of tie-dyed calf fashioned by Ohio artisan Cris Takacs. Takacs began studying bookbinding in 1980, and in 1987 worked with Czech binders Jan and Jarmila Sobota. In an email to a former owner of this volume, Takacs explained she achieved a modelled effect on the upper cover using a leather relief method in which the leather was laid over thin bristol board to produce the design's archway outline. The falling leaves were then tooled in blind, though the leather did not take tooling well, and she had "a devil of a time with the leaves." Takacs is a former chairperson of the Guild of Book Workers, and since her retirement from managing the collections at the International Women's Air and Space Museum in Cleveland, she does binding and conservation under the trade name Books Bound & Repaired. Nora Koch received an MFA in Printmaking and Book Arts from the University of Iowa, and then operated the Gravel Pit Press for a few years after graduate school. She is now a freelance book designer for publishers that include the Minnesota Historical Society Press, University of Wisconsin Press, and Fortress Press. She was a founding member of Minnesota Book Builders. No. 27 OF 45 COPIES, signed in the colophon by designer, printer, and illustrator Nora L. Koch.
