Spines have caught the sun and faded to a brown/green (only noticeable when removed from the slipcase). Else a lovely set contained in publisher's slipcase which is scuffed and marked but not split. Packaged with care and promptly dispatched!

Gilt and black-pictorial cloth; a fine set in the near-fine slipcase (slightly dusty). Retrospectively by the above authors, the five volumes are Babylon; Knossos; Petra and the Lost Kingdom of the Nabataeans; Pompeii and Herculaneum. Cities of Vesuvius; and Troy and the Trojans. Each volume features an introduction, the first three volumes by their respective authors, the other two by Andrew Wallace-Hadrill and Donald Easton. [5 items].
