Very good condition. Facsimile edition of the unit history of the 44th A.I.F. Battalion, WWI. The 44th was raised at Claremont, Western Australia in February 1916. First published in 1921. (The title page reads ". as the Digger Saw It", however, on the front cover is a reproduction of the original cover title ". as the Digger Fought It"). An important West Australian unit history.

Facsimile edition of the unit history of the 16th Battalion of the A.I.F, first published in 1929. The 16th was raised in September 1914: most were recruited in Western Australian. The battalion served at Gallipoli the following year, also seeing service in France. "The Old Sixteenth" includes awards, the honour roll, and the nominal roll.
