The aim of this monograph is threefold: First to recall the evolution of the technique an behalf of the successively used contrast media, second to provide a general view of the normal radiosemeiology in R.S.G., third to illustrate the applications of this technique in the different fields of the lumbo-sacral pathology. R.S.G. is a compIementary technique which can be used even in less specialized departments, which provides a simple solution for many diagnostic problems in lumbo-sacral pathology. Up to now this technique has been recommended especially for the diagnosis of discal herniations.
