Parmi ses ?uvres les plus connues figurent L?Étranger, Le Mythe de Sisyphe, La Peste et La Chute. Camus s?est également engagé dans le débat moral et politique de son temps, notamment durant la Seconde Guerre mondiale et la guerre d?Algérie. Il meurt tragiquement dans un accident de voiture à l?âge de 46 ans.
