He has also made some notes in the margin of the Answer, which in the printed text are indicated by an asterisk (*).' Mitarb. iiber die Vasopressin-Biosynthese mit markierten Vorlaufern, die haufig als Argument fUr eine Neurosekretsynthese im Bereich des Axons zitiert werden, sind ohne weiteres mit der Annahme vereinbar, daB das Hormon - wenn auch in biologisch inaktiver Form - im Perikaryon synthetisiert wird (TAKABATAKE U.
