Externally, a little worn. Vellum is discoloured, as is common with this binding. Ink note to backstrip. Book has a slight lean and boards have sprung a little. Front free endpaper is disbound, and the following blank is torn, with evidence of previous repair work. Internally, generally firmly bound. Gathering of p29 is disbound, with a few other gatherings strained. Pages are generally bright, with a few light marks and a light tide mark, mainly to the first half of the work. A few spots to plates. Lacking two plates. An area of loss to the 2nd leaf of the index, with most of the 3rd Index leaf also lacking. A few pages are creased. The odd pencil annotation throughout. Good. book.
