Hardcover. Zustand: VG-. See photos for condition details. Large hardcover, measuring just over 12 inches tall. Half bound in leather with raised bands on spine. Exterior shows some scuffing and soiling, edges and corners also bumped/worn. The internal binding is good, no hinge issues. Marbled end pages and front and rear. The front pastedown and half title page both contain bookplates of Richard William Smith Griffith, there is also some very faint residue of penciling on the end pages along with a small check mark on the decorative title page. The tissue guard for the frontispiece is not present but you can still see remnants of the tab between the preface pages ii and iii. Paper is quite toned due to age and some foxing is present along with smudge marks. Text is in French. Please note: this is a large and heavy book that weighs over 5 pounds, non-US sales or priority mail option will require additional postage as the weight exceeds Biblio's maximum global shipping weight. US media mail is not affected by this.
