Hardcover. Zustand: Fine. 5.5" x 6.25", 50pp. Publisher's stapled pictorial wraps with punch hole and hanging string at top corner. Gorgeous Fourth Printing of this scarce cocktail recipe book anticipating the end of Prohibition which was soon repealed. The title page actually disclaims, "Whenever it Becomes Legal to Serve". Loaded with recipes from the area's ".Smartest Stars' Rendezvous", including the Brown Derby and Coconut Grove. Lots of recipes named after famous stars of the era. Stunning Art-Deco design has a few small stains but is remarkably well preserved. Square, tight and clean throughout with little or no wear. This delightful volume comes housed in its original illustrated box which has some surface and edge-wear to corners and a small closed tear on one edge of the lid. Still quite bright and solid and rare in commerce with no other examples currently available. A beautiful collectable copy and quite uncommon in any condition. This one is gorgeous.
