Contemporary half roan patterned boards. An attack upon the English people and government, especially in regard to their foreign policy. With references to Lord Liverpool, Maria Fitzherbert, George, Prince of Wales (later George IV) and Prince Frederick, Duke of York and Albany. The preface signed: W *** and L ***. Stamp of 'Intelligence Department' on front free endpaper and various library numbers. Title-page has bottom section replaced with no loss to publishing details. Foreword has slight loss of a few letters at repair to inner margin. Binding rubbed and marked with some loss to corners. German text. Very good. Some rubbing to binding. Very good.
