A thoroughly descriptive catalog on the Haigh Alternating Stress Testing Machine designed to test the stress capacity of metals and metal structures. Includes an explanation of the design of this machine and instructions for operating it. Includes "Typcial Results Obtained on Samples" and a page of "Details of Equipment" as well. List of laboratories using the Haigh ALternating Stress Testing Machine glued to the inside of the front cover. "Reference," "Catalogue Library" and "JUN 3 1926" stamps along the upper edge of the front cover. Catalog number in black ink at the top right corner of the front cover as well. Both covers have discolored with age. Apart from some light smudging to page margins, the pages are clean and free of writing. Binding is tight and strong, with no loose pages.
