Volume one is tanned towards the spine area, but internally very good. Volume two has extensive marginal ink lines, highlighting certain passages, and small strip along the top of the title page has been excised. Punin was an art writer who championed modern Russian movements such as Constructivism and Formalism, and also had interests in the preservation of art collections.
