It stresses that the future of piping hinges on raising a new generation of players, making it a vital national endeavour for Scotland and beyond.To honour the legacy of fallen pipers and to ensure the survival of piping traditions, the Piobaireachd Society plans to establish a Memorial School of piping. Proceeds from the sale of this book will be directed to support this initiative, thus serving as both a tribute to the sacrifices made and a proactive step towards safeguarding Scotland?s musical heritage for future generations.
