Half dark green morocco, green cloth sides, backstrips discoloured and lettered and tooled in gilt, joints and corner tips sliightly rubbed, marbled edges. A holograph note laid down on the front pastedown of the earliest volume reads: Forwarded, marbled and finished by H A Hughes foreman bookbinder. with Wm Dresser & Sons Darlington 1889-1906.
