Volume I is water stained to upper and bumped and frayed to edges with a sunned and browned spine. Upper hinge is split. Volume II has a sunned spine. Page edges of both are lightly foxed otherwise they are clean and… sound copies. Volumes III and IV are red cloth gilt hardcover folders containing many folded and numbered maps. Both are bumped, faded and frayed and one has ownership name in black. Spines are sunned and browned. Overall still a very nice set.
