The contents in very good condition, the maps with closed tears as usual, the boards edge rubbed and the front joint parting but hold…ing firmly. From the LMS Central Records Office at Euston Station. The front cover carries the name of W Cawkwell, who was the General Manager of the London & North Western Railway from 1858 to 1874. Usually found in green cloth the leather bound variants were for presentation to senior railway officials.
