This catalogue was produced to accompany the exhibition of work by the British artist Jon Thompson (1936-2016) held from 23 November 2018 to 25 January 2019, at Sotheby's S2 London. As a Goldsmiths Professor, Jon Thompson taught many of the young artists who would later find fame as the YBAs, or Young British Artists. His innovations in art teaching, particularly in allowing students to work across many mediums, are often cited as a catalyst for the YBA's work.
