Al mencionar indígenas, la autora se refiere a "los colonizados" por Francia, y al evocar judíos, los invita a reconocer su pasado común. Esta misma convocatoria podría leerse en clave latinoamericana, con los pueblos autóctonos excluidos, con la invitación a reconocer las diversas historias y filosofías en el territorio común. El testimonio de un iracundo autorreconocimiento aguarda en estas páginas que no se conforman con exponer, o sólo señalar con reticencia teórica.
