Neuware - When perception contradicts accepted theory, the scientific method, the fundamental doctrine of modern science, demands that scientists investigate and modify those theories to be consistent with all observed phenomena. Science Restored begins with relatively common human perceptions, shows with well-documented historical research why those perceptions are ignored by scientists, and proposes methods to begin investigations to correct the modern science theories. Most humans experience thoughts and perceptions that do not have a known physical basis. Modern science tells us to ignore such things, claiming they are delusions, imagination, insanity, 'shit happens,' etc. Most less-educated people believe in things that are not physical. Who is correct Based on historical research, Science Restored shows that the founders of modern science were forced by the Inquisition to ignore such phenomena, and even to make public statements that the phenomena were not real. Today, most scientists believe what they were told by their predecessors. Those who question the text books are not allowed to investigate: they know they would lose their funding, their research support, the respect of their peers, and the right to publish their results in mainstream professional journals. In short, a modern day scientist who attempts to investigate the topics prohibited by the church would be tortured and killed . . . professionally. This state of continued restrictions can only be overcome by making the knowledge contained in Science Restored more commonly know. Single folded sheet, black and white printing. Creases where previously folded into thirds. A near fine example. John Barleycorn, originally an autobiographical novel written by Jack London in 1913, was adapted into a silent film in 1914. It portrayed London's journey with alcoholism and sobriety. The film has been "lost" for decades, meaning that there is no present day record of it in any studio archive, public archive, private collection, or in the Library of Congress. (AFI).

First edition. Single sheet, 8.25 x 21.75 inches, folded to 8 pages, 8 b/w reproductions of photo stills from the movie. Text includes a synopsis of the plot and the announcement "for early production" of a list of 9 more movies based on Jack London's works, as well as "all other stories by Mr. London, past, present, and to come." Scarce original promotional pamphlet for Hobart Bosworth's silent film production of "The Sea Wolf." Produced with the authorization and collaboration of Jack London, starring Bosworth as Wolf Larsen and reportedly with London playing the role of one of the seamen aboard Wolf Larsen's ship, the Ghost. Hobart Bosworth (1867-1943) was a pioneering film actor, writer, and director, who contracted with jack London to produce movies based on his stories - beginning with The Sea Wolf in 1913 and followed by 5 more films in 1914. Though his partnership with London did not last, Bosworth had a long career in film and was known as "The Dean of Hollywood." (See Tony WIlliams "Jack London: The Movies, an Historical Survey.)
