Book is in very good condition with slight soiling and wear to covers. The contents are tight and clean. ; Illustrated with black and white in text engravings and black and white photo of the Seventh Pennsylvania Cavalry monument at Chickamauga. Errata- In the Preface, there is a paragraph about Winfield Scott in which his title during the beginning of the war is blacked out and on the bottom of the page is stamped "General of the Army." This booklet is a sequel to "Tioga Mountaineers. "; Illustrated with black and white wood engravings; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 44 pages; Using letters, official records and other source materials, the author presents a picture of the soldiers of the Pennsylvania Seventh Cavalry during the Civil War who were from the town of Mansfield.

Complete with frontispiece portrait, fold-out "Color Chart" and 63 illustrated plates. Light wear at the heel of the spine, faint foxing to title page and endpapers, internally clean. In the publisher's first state dust jacket, $4.00 on the front flap, a few closed tears, light toning to the spine, bright illustrations, scarce in this condition.

Octavo, xii, [2], 893pp, [3]. Blue cloth, title in gilt on spine and front cover. Stated "Complete New Edition, 1940 Edition, Third Printing, April, 1941" on the copyright page. Solid text block, light usage. Faint dust remnants along top of text block, light rubbing along lower tips of the spine. Complete with frontispiece and 23 full-page black and white illustrations. In the publisher's scarce dust jacket, $4.00 on both flaps, stated "1941 Edition" on the front panel, closed tear along top edge of front panel, a near fine example. Signed by Emily Post on the front free endpaper. Emily Post?s "Etiquette in Society, in Business, in Politics, and at Home" was first issued in 1922 by Funk & Wagnalls in New York, and was reprinted multiple times within its first year due to its popularity. A revised and enlarged second edition followed in 1923, and further updates appeared throughout the 1920s and 1930s as Post adapted advice to modern life.

Final White script for the 1956 film. Director Michael Curtiz's Specially bound copy, in tan leather with gilt titles and Curtiz's name at the bottom right corner of the front board. An adaptation of the 1925 operetta of the same name by Rudolf Friml which is based on Justin Huntly McCarthy's 1901 romantic novel and play "If I Were King." Set in France, in the year 1461. Brown leather covered boards, titles in gilt. Title page present, dated December 9, 1954, with credits for producer Pat Duggan, director Michael Curtiz, screenwriter Ken Englund. 114 leaves, with last page of text numbered 96A. Mimeograph duplication, with blue and goldenrod revision pages throughout, dated variously between 12-15-54 and 2-9-55. Pages Near Fine, binding Very Good plus with some wear at the edges.

Both items scarce: no other copies traced. In good condition, lightly aged. Disbound from a volume and paginated in manuscript. Extracted from a volume of Parliamentary Circulars with the ownership signature "Frederick Peel", Member of Parliament (from Feb. 1849), dated 1839-1851). ONE: Copy of letter from W. L. Maberly to 'H. Merivale, Esq., / &c. &c. &c. / Colonial Office', dated from General Post Office, 14 December 1850. 2pp, 8vo. Paginated in manuscript 257-258. Begins by explaining that the Postmaster General has been 'desirous of extending to the British Colonies the existing regulations under which Printed Books, Magazines, Reviews, and Pamphlets, (whether British, Colonial, or Foreign) are transmitted by Post, within the United Kingdom at reduced rates of Postage', and that he has 'received the permission of their Lordships to carry the measure into immediate effect as respects those Colonies who Postal arrangements are under His Lordship's controul. [sic]' TWO: Printed 'Circular' dated from Downing Street, 27 December 1850. Printed in copperplate font. Headed in manuscript 'Book Posts'. At end in manuscript (not Grey's handwriting): '/sd/ Grey'. 2pp, 8vo. Paginated in manuscript 255-256. Explaining the background to Item One, and calling on the recipient to 'bring the subject under the early consideration of your Executive Council'.

The aims and rules of game are self explanatory: "An diesem interessanten Spiel können bis zu fünf Personen teilnehmen. Jeder Spieler erhält eine Figur, ein Kriegsschiff oder ein Kampfflugzeug zum Setzen auf den vorgezeichneten Gefechtsweg. Es wird mit einem Würfel gespielt. Wer zuerst sechs würfelt beginnt. Er hat das Spiel zu leiten und die Spielregeln, sowie die Erläuterungen vorlesen. Die Reihenfolge der übrigen Spieler richtet sich nach der erzielten höchsten Augenzahl.
