Each issue has between 16 to 24 pages and includes illustrations from drawings and photographs. All are in near fine condition. The June 14th issue is signed in full by Ed Sanders below the banner title. The original contributions contained within include columns by Andrei Codrescu and Jim Hightower, a poem by Robert Creeley entitled "Help", two poems by Robert Bly "He Wanted to Live His Life Over", and "A Question the Bundle Had", and 2 poems by Anselm Hollo "Cat-God's Channel" and "Terrifying Specimens".Among the articles is an homage to the Hudson River & Catskill region historian Alf Evers. Political articles include one on the SEG's investigation of the HMO WellCare. There is also a headline entitled "Another Barnburning / When Will It Stop?" followed by an article by Edward SAnders "The Hell of Arson".

This is the expurgated first edition, there is a sticker on the half-title page that reads, "The blacked-out spaces are in mourning for the poems of E.E. Cummings, for which permission was refused by Harcourt Brace." Cummings name and two of his poems have been blacked out as his widow withdrew permission after printing, and two pages have been cut out from the book, as issued. This is a review copy with a review slip inserted at the front. Binding is visible at the front endpapers, else internally clean, there is toning to the spine and back cover of the book with some marks else very good condition.

Broadsheet, approx. 8¼" x 5¼", printed on green paper; some toning, else fine. Announcing ten poetry publications from the press, including works by Pablo Neruda, James Wright, James Dickey, and Robert Bly, some, apparently, not published. Order form on the verso, and with a self-addressed, post-free envelope. Not found in OCLC as of October, 2014.

The rare first volume (issue) of this little magazine that was published by poet, editor, translator, playwright Jerome Rothenberg (b. 1931) in a total of five issues, from 1959-1963. Very good, well-preserved copy; wrapper age-toned at the hinge area, small light stain on rear panel and a smaller one on pg. 13; contents otherwise fine.
