Publisher's half navy leather over cloth boards, with gilt crest of the Royal…Marines to boards; raised bands, gilt ruling and lettering and ship decoration to spines; top edges gilt. Bindings a little scratched and rubbed at points, with a few minor bumps. Rather minor and infrequent foxing. Foreword by Admiral of the Fleet, Earl Beatty. The first two volumes were published in 1924, while the preface of the third is dated 1927. 4to.
