Very good in good rubbed, unclipped dust jacket. Keely's claims that his machines tapping the 'Luminous Ether' for a source of power, were widely discussed, tested a…nd doubted. Nevertheless his demonstrations drew interest and large investments in the Keely Motor Company, and the support of his long time patron, and the author of the book. While clearly establishing the charge of fraud, the foreword notes, "his basic idea of the enormous energies hidden in the structure of matter is a true one, and has been vindicated by modern nuclear physics.".
