Vintage studio still photograph of Glynis Johns from the 1962 film. From the collection of artist and author Duncan Hannah. Duncan Hannah was a key figure in the burgeoning New York underground arts scene, befriending Andy Warhol and his superstars, Lou Reed, Allen Ginsberg, Patti Smith, Salvador Dali, and many others. A graduate of the Parsons School of Design, his paintings were exhibited in the influential 1980 Times Square Show alongside work by Keith Haring and Jean-Michel Basquiat, and several of his paintings are held in the permanent collection of the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Loosely based on the 1920 German silent film "The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari." After her car breaks down, a woman seeks shelter at the vast estate of Caligari, a perverse, Welsh hermit who imprisons the woman for his harem of tortured "guests." 10 x 8 inches. Near Fine.

Collection of nine vintage studio still photographs, two borderless, from the 1962 film. Jane Lindstom's (Glynis Johns) car breaks down and she seeks assistance at the home of a man named Caligari (Dan O'Herlihy), where she soon finds herself prisoner, and none of the other residents seem willing to help. Not a remake of the classic 1920 Robert Wiene film "The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari," despite the similarity of the title, though it does contain a similar plot twist. 7 - 8 x 10 inches, 2 - 9.25 x 7 . Near Fine, some faint creasing in margins and light edgewear.
