Fair condition only - both hinges broken, the frontispiece and one internal plate are detached, but still present, toning to the covers - but still appealing despite the flaws.

Separate pictorial design to spine. Solid clean copy; arrestingly illustrated with color and b&w tissue guarded plates from paintings by Blanche McManus. Approximately 75 illustrations, perhaps half this number are full page plates. Includes several maps, one folding. Just minimal shelf rub at tips and spine ends. Handsome and neat. VG+.
