printed wrappers. Zustand: Good. Litho:Design for Jubilee Col (illustrator). First edition. 8vo, 27 pages, printed wrappers, dampstained, frontispiece nicked at top edge, slightly affecting the print. Rare. This is likely one of the 500 copies cited by Graff 3379 as being done for the Bishop's personal use. Byrd 988 cites this frontispiece, "Design for Jubilee College", as appearing in JOURNAL OF THE NINTH ANNUAL CONVENTION, 1845. It is signed in the plate, "Upjohn Del." and, "G. Hayward 1 Platt St. NY" ( Byrd's note is uncertain). Neither Byrd nor Graff describe a copy with the frontispiece in this copy. Illustrated by Litho: Design for Jubilee College. [ Sabin 12190].
