The etching used on the binding shows Fort Saint George at Madras and was made around the time Corneille was in India. 184pp, 8vo -218cms x 146 cms, 7¾" - 9¾". Folio Society number 220. The frontispiece reproduces a page of the original manuscript, which was compiled between 1754 and 1757.
