Spencer; prelims and fore-edges a little foxed, scant foxing elsewhere, a gathering in the first two volumes a little shaken, a couple of text leaves with minor edge tears, but the fine illustrations clean, with fine deep tone, a handsomely bound set in very good condition. The handsome H.S. Nichols' Library Edition of Burton's classic work with fine photogravure illustrations. Nichols included reproductions of the original "Kamashastra Society" title-pages reprinting the original 16 volume work into the 12 volume Library Edition, following Burton's death in 1890.
