Excerpt: 'News travels fast; collectors came to mock and left with pictures. With the elan which has become his hallmark, Billy shrewdly invested his profit in shoes. Helplessly, his peers wondered how it was possible to afford a '47 Indian, a Cushman Deliveromat and a Rollasage panel truck'. 23 x 27.5 cm.
