Text in French. This finely printed short story on the history of printing in Belgium (Southern Netherlands) contains 45 illustrations all designed and engraved by hand.

8pp., disbound, margins a little chipped. The nucleus of the library was an eighteenth-century bequeathal by clergyman, Dr. Robert Thomlinson of Whickham, of some 4,600 volumes to St. Nicholas' for the use of the public. The only other copy located is that of the University of Newcastle Library.
