A collection of five issues of the Bibby periodical, offering rich contemporary agricultural and pastoral insight. Illustrated heavily throughout, featuring eight double-sided colour plates, two double-sided plates featuring a mixture of colour and monochrome illustrations, and very frequent monochrome vignette illustrations throughout. No other collation record available. The 'Literary Supplement' section of No. 1 features facsimile illustrations of Kipling's handwritten manuscript of 'The Absent-Minded Beggar'. The corresponding article describes how this manuscript was held in Bibby's possession, and, states the intention of the magazine to use the profits for the Soldiers and Sailors Families' Association, and several other charitable causes.
