"After John Smith, the first account of this colony, the first one penned by a native and the best contemporary record of its aboriginal tribes and of the life of it's early settlers" [Howes B-410]. With a handsome engraved frontispiece of the arms of the Colony of Virginia, and 14 additional engravings after Theodor de Bry's engravings for the first part of Hariot's important work on Virginia. ~~This copy rebound by J.
