Large 8vo. [ 29x20cm.] Illustrated with two copperplates of Venus and Mercury and 39 other woodcut illustrations. Original blue cloth decorated in gilt and black. Slight weakness at head and foot of backstrip, a very good copy. Major Danish sculptor, working in Italy in the first decades of the nineteenth century.
