Zustand: Very good. Stockholm, L. Salvius, 1754. 8:o. 72 pp. & XV folded engraved plates. Engraved vignette by J. Gillberg on title. Contemporary half calf, spine worn and defective. Blue sprinkled edges. Occasional foxing and minor spotting. Title almost loose and with spatters of colour in outer margin from the coloured edges. Wax stain on p. 13. First plate with some mirror printing from the preceding page and with a black ink stain in the upper margin. Ownership notes and signature. With a printed letter of recommendation from S. Klingenstierna. The author was later raised to the nobility under the name of Björnstierna. Sweden's first printed theory of perspective. With a printed dedication to the author's future pupil, Crown Prince Gustav (III), for whose education the book was written.
