Kaisertum von der Antike zum Mittelalter". In Vorbereitung dieser Ausstellung fand im Mai 2010 eine wissenschaftliche Tagung statt, deren Ergebnisse im vorliegenden Band präsentiert werden. Die Beiträge thematisieren Aspekte der Entstehungsgeschichte des Kaisertums von Augustus bis zu Otto den Großen und die Wandlungen des Imperium Romanum mit interdisziplinären Ansätzen.
